In late 2015, the idea of Studio 2500 was conceived by a young artist with a big vision. Willie Williams, Jr. was the young visionary who saw beyond the warehouse facade on 26th Avenue North and saw a space that would be filled with vibrant and unique works of art. Soon after, what started as an idea became reality. On July 29th, 2016, Studio 2500 opened its doors for its first art show. As successful as the first show was, the idea and vision got bigger and bigger.
The vision then conceived the experience in which artists of all kind can exhibit and express their talents freely in this new and unique space. In the last two years, there have been over 12 major exhibits and events, notably Art At Night, The first ever Magic City Poetry Festival, and Art + Neo Soul (to name a few), featuring local, national, and international artists. The experience as we know it now only gets better from here. Come and join us on our journey!
